Links and Referrals Referrals are the "Life Blood" of any successful Entertainment or Event company. DJ's live off of their referrals. Every time we entertain at a wedding or a mitzvah, the world is watching. If we do a great job for you, and your cousin is about to be married, it's only natural that you would refer the vendors that made "your day" run smoothly. Every event is "special" to us because we cherish your family's referrals.
Some banquet halls refer DJ's, photographers, videographers to make their customers lives easier. Since very few of my customers have ever had any experience in planning a wedding, party or mitzvah . . . The first time it's really difficult to cut through each vendors sales hype.
Yet referrals can be a two sided sword. Some facilities only refer DJ's (or other vendors) that will pay them a kickback or "commission". Some facilities will only recommend their relatives, or the DJ who is sleeping with the "Banquet Sales Babe". There are good vendors and of course bad ones!
Therefore, I feel that (as a DJ for almost 37 years), I should have the power to recommend good vendors and good banquet facilities. Who would understand better what photographers are good and which banquet halls serve poison? Can you say “The Seville”?
